The Gladstone Healthy Harbour Partnership (GHHP) is a project run by the Australian Government, aiming to create an Digital Stories project that gathers first hand recollections of the Gladstone harbour as well as intergenerational comparisons, which serves to create greater community ownership of the harbour.
Elevate Media worked on the brand conception and development stage of the project. We were responsible for developing the brand, ëOur Harbour, Our Reflectionsí and we developed a creative brand strategy and marketing campaign, which aimed to deliver the projects message.
Along with branding we developed the Harbour Reflections online portal to be easy to use, reflect the developed brand strategy and be responsive using modern web standards to work across all mobile, tablet and desktop devices.We also delivered twenty five Digital Stories of a variety of different people who have experienced the Gladstone Harbour in different ways and captured their personal experience, stories and memories via video. This involved community engagement to qualify the participants and ensure we had a variety of demographics to represent the community. The Digital Stories included the shoot pre planning, run sheets, shoot and edit of each story, proofing, uploading to the online portal and creating a DVD.
To accompany the Digital Stories we also developed a book, transcribing all of the Oral Histories captured in the videos. The DVD and published book are now available in local libraries.
